Planting & Care Tips

Plant Micranthemum Umbrosum stems individually in suitable aquarium substrate, leaving sufficient space between stems for healthy growth. Grouping several stems together creates a fuller, more attractive display.

Provide suitable lighting, balanced nutrients and stable water conditions. CO₂ supplementation can encourage vigorous growth and denser foliage, although it is not essential in every aquarium setup.

Once established, this plant can grow rapidly and produce numerous side shoots. Trim the stems regularly to maintain your preferred shape and prevent the lower leaves from being shaded. Healthy cuttings can be replanted to expand your plant group.
