Aquarium Setup and Care

Guppy Grass is easy to introduce into your aquarium. Simply rinse it gently with aquarium-safe water and let it float freely, or loosely secure some stems if you prefer a more organised layout.

Its dense growth creates hiding places for newborn guppies and other small fish. Shrimp can also graze on biofilm that develops among its fine foliage.

Guppy Grass absorbs nutrients from the water as it grows, potentially helping with nutrient management. However, it should not replace regular water changes, appropriate filtration or aquarium maintenance.

Because this plant can grow rapidly, remove excess growth regularly to prevent it from shading other plants or blocking filter intakes. Avoid burying delicate stems deeply in the substrate.
