Aquarium Setup and Care

Place the Christmas Moss coconut shell in your freshwater aquarium with gentle water circulation around the moss. The moss attaches to surfaces rather than rooting in the substrate, so no special planting is required.

Provide stable water conditions and low to moderate lighting to encourage healthy green growth. Trim excess moss when it becomes dense, as thick growth can trap debris and restrict water circulation.

The coconut shell can provide shelter for shrimp and small fish, while the moss offers additional surface area for biofilm and microorganisms that shrimp may graze on.

Before use, gently rinse the decoration with aquarium-safe water and ensure the coconut shell has been properly cleaned and prepared for aquarium use.
