Plant Care:
Anubias are hardy plants that can thrive in a variety of aquarium environments. These epiphytes can be planted above the substrate or attached to driftwood and rocks. Do not bury the rhizome, as this can cause the plant to melt and eventually die.
Avoid making drastic changes to aquarium conditions, as unstable parameters can lead to melting and rhizome rot. Remove the plant from its pot before adding it to the aquarium and prepare it appropriately for planting.
CO₂ injection and quality aquarium soil can encourage better growth, although CO₂ is not necessary for Anubias to thrive.
