Planting & Care Tips

Divide Hydrocotyle Tripartita Mini into small portions and plant them a few centimetres apart in suitable aquarium substrate. Its creeping stems can develop roots at the nodes, gradually spreading to create a dense carpet.

Provide moderate to strong lighting, balanced nutrients and stable water conditions. CO₂ supplementation is optional, but it can encourage faster spreading and tighter growth. Under lower lighting, the stems may grow taller rather than forming a compact carpet.

Trim the plant regularly to prevent excessive vertical growth and shading of lower leaves. You can also allow it to grow over rocks and driftwood for a natural, cascading effect.
