Planting & Care Tips

Plant Pearl Weed in small portions in suitable aquarium substrate, leaving space between portions for spreading growth. With stronger lighting, adequate nutrients and CO₂ supplementation, it can develop compact, low-growing growth suitable for foreground carpeting.

In lower-light or low-tech aquariums, Pearl Weed typically grows taller and forms attractive midground bushes or background clusters. Trim the stems regularly to prevent overcrowding and shading of the lower leaves.

Healthy stem cuttings can be replanted to expand the carpet or create a fuller green bush. Maintain stable water conditions and provide balanced nutrients for healthy foliage.
