Assassin Snail
The Assassin Snail is a popular freshwater snail known for helping control populations of other unwanted freshwater snails. Keeping a small group of Assassin Snails may help reduce the number of Trumpet Snails and other pest snails in an aquarium.
However, Assassin Snails should not be considered the only solution for managing a rapidly increasing snail population. Regular maintenance is also important. Removing excess uneaten food from the substrate through regular gravel vacuuming can help reduce available food sources and keep pest snail populations under control.
